Are AMX devices susceptible to the CVE-2024-1086 vulnerability?
Answer:
A vulnerability was identified in relation to devices using the Linux operating system v5.14 through v6.6 that can allow a bad actor that already has gained a foothold inside an affected system to escalate their system privileges within the Linux device (CVE-2024-1086).
AMX has assessed all products that use Linux OS and we have concluded there is low risk to this vulnerability as described by CVE-2024-1086.
No patching is required at this time.
